Weapons/Abilities

• Aura Manipulation

  Midnight's main source of magic is known to be an extension of his own Aura, which is of blue coloration. Due to his Aura being immensely powerful, he is able to harness it in an incredibly offensive fashion. This consists of outward blasts and tangible slices with his blade. However, what he is most known for is the ability to fashion solid weapons out of said Aura, which take the form of swords.
  
  However, like most beings with Aura, projecting his Aura outwards in such an offensive fashion leaves him temporarily vulnerable until the attack is over and his Aura can retreat back to his body. Exerting his Aura is also shown to exhaust Midnight, allowing fighters with a brutal and unpredictable style to have a slight advantage. It is also known that his emotions can influence how he fights; when his calm and collected persona is broken and gives way to a more hectic approach, he is reckless and easy to overwhelm.

• Time Manipulation

  Midnight's blade is known to give him the ability to manipulate time. The hourglass in the hilt of his weapon is filled with a red sand that is gained after each successful battle, mainly from injuring and/or killing his opponent. It is with this sand that he is able to manipulate time to however he sees fit, which mainly consists of subtle time stops to give the impression of teleportation and to strike the opponent so that they will not know their injuries until he has sheathed his blade.
  
  However, if he is parted from his blade or if the sand runs out, he is unable to harness this power. Once the sand is drained, what usually was a strong and sharp blade becomes dull-edged and is able to be broken if hit in the correct way.

• Other Abilities

  ♠ Midnight is seen being able to generate blue flames from time to time, although its power origin is currently unknown.
  ♠ His fighting style is rather calm and somewhat strict, specializing in Iaido due to the style of his blade. He fights with his speed rather than his strength; focusing on getting as many hits on the opponent as possible, or disabling his opponent as opposed to battering them.
  ♠ Midnight is a natural telepath, able to communicate with anyone who has an open mind (either by willingly letting him speak or otherwise) without speaking verbally. It is known that he prefers this method of communication due to centuries of communicating in such a way; he occasionally slips on verbal communication.
